I found it fascinating that she got ‘Meditate’ from her Oracle deck. She was spot on when she said, ‘it needs less effort, more space, and permission to simply be’, that, right there is exactly what I needed to hear. I have struggled for several years with wanting to make meditation a regular thing for me but always felt like there were these specific rules to it. I am starting to get out of that mindset.

I have had unhealthy emotional patterns that resurfaced when my relationship with my fiance progressed and got more serious. It has been suggested to me that it goes deeper than only the past decade of my life and that there are roots from when I was a child. I do have very little chance to rest. As a mom of a toddler and preteen that spends most time caring for them solely while my fiance is working, it weighs heavy. My emotional system has definitely become overloaded, everything that was pointed out there is spot on.

I am going to create more stillness for myself by reading and meditating.
